Phitofilos Pure Christ's Thorn Powder, 100 g

Pure powder obtained from the leaves of the Christ's Thorn plant (Ziziphus spina christi). It is ideal for cleansing the hair, strengthening the hair shaft and thus this gives volume without changing your hair colour. However, the powder could have lighting effects. In Yemen, Pakistan and India, the plant is prized for its properties and used not only for the hair but also for personal care. The dried and ground leaves are rich in minerals such as iron, magnesium and calcium.

Ideal for the care of brittle, fine hair that lacks volume. In small quantities, the powder can be used as a fixative for herbal hair colours, like black henna. It can also mitigate the colour intensity of colouring powders.

Christ's Thorn powder can be well used as an alternative to Senna italica, the neutral henna, to give hair luminosity. However, the results obtained from using Christ's Thorn are not as intense; the hair colour does not change (during the prolonged use of Senna italica, hair colour can be made darker).

Application:

• Like all plant applications, the powder should be mixed with hot water in a bowl (preferably non-metallic), stirring with a spoon to create a fine paste.
• Apply evenly to the washed, still slightly damp hair, then cover with cling wrap and leave on for 20 to 45 minutes. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water.
