Phitofilos Pure Marshmallow Powder, 100 g

Marshmallow, also known as mallow root or white mallow, is a perennial plant that belongs to the mallow family (Malvaceae). The powder from the root contains a high proportion of natural mucilage, starch, pectins and flavonoids, making it ideal for creating a particularly creamy, soft hair mask.

Marshmallow can be used on its own or added to plant-based hair colours or powders to improve their texture. When added to a mixture for hair care, marshmallow root powder makes the hair softer, silkier and leaves it hydrated and nourished.

Application:

• Mix the required amount of powder with warm water (500 ml of water is required per 100 g of powder!*) until a paste is formed that is not too thick.
• This mixture should be allowed to infuse for 12-24 hours**
• Once infused, apply the paste to freshly washed, towel-dried hair. It is then advisable to cover the hair with cling film or aluminium foil so that the mixture can take effect for 20-45 minutes.
• After the application time, rinse the hair thoroughly and dry it as usual.

Face:

• Mix the powder with hot water until the paste is creamy.
• Apply to the face after cleansing and avoid the eye area.
• Rinse with lukewarm water after 10-15 minutes.
• Apply a patch test on the forearm before using the product on the face.

Note:

• The amount of water required may vary from time to time, just as the surrounding temperature, batch, season or additives used, such as yoghurt, gel, lemon juice, vinegar, etc., may influence this.
• It is recommended to allow the paste to rest at room temperature for the specified time before use - this allows the water to be optimally absorbed and then released back into the hair with all the positive properties of the active ingredient.
• For extremely porous, light or bleached hair, brahmi can lead to slight changes in colour.
