Description
Colouring the hair with henna is one of the oldest colour treatment techniques. Compared to conventional colouring treatments, the use of henna is safer and less harmful. Henna gives brown hair a copper tint whilst providing grey-hair coverage. It provides blonde hair with an intensive red nuance.
Many standard henna products contain an additive called sodium picramates, a synthetic bonding agent, that accelerates the use of henna, making it more effective. The products produced by TEA, however, do not contain this harmful ingredient.
Application:
- Depending on the length of the hair, mix a sufficient portion of henna powder with warm water (about 50°C) until a creamy paste is formed.
- Add a small amount of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice to the paste to increase the longevity of the colour outcome.
- Apply to damp hair and cover the hair with a shower cap.
- The first red reflections are noticeable after about an hour.
- For more colour intensity, leave the henna on for 2 - 3 hours.
- To preserve the colour, it is recommended to cleanse the hair using a mixture of 2 parts ghassoul and 2 teaspoons of red henna.

Really nice, 1st time is use henna. The color is nice, too bad teh notice was short and in Italian. Hopefully I know someone who is an expert in Henna to guide me.
