While all mineral sunscreens leave some white caste, from what I've read and experienced, this one really isn't too bad (for my pale skin that is). It's very thick so a little tricky to get out of the tube sometimes, and a bit more difficult to put on, but I've kind of got used to it now. It doesn't have a strong smell, which I like. It does take 2-3 lathers of soap to wash off, but it does come off without scrubbing, unlike La Saponaria's osolebio. It also seems to come out of clothing - I put some natural stain remover on it, so I don't know if it would without that. The one weird thing is that when I put it on my face it seems to make me sweat straightaway. It's not actually that oily, but maybe the skin on my face doesn't like the oils and is sweating them out?!? It's a minor thing and overall I'd buy this again.

The sun protection factor (SPF) is a measure of the effectiveness of the UVB filters of a sunscreen.
This means that as soon as a product has an SPF, it is automatically protected against UVB rays.
