Perfect moisture and volume.
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
This is the perfect moisturizing conditioner. Your hair must be actually detoxed from all kinds of stylers for it to get the full benefits. To be used after a detox/clarifying shampoo (basically any anti dandruff shampoo has detox ingredients). The detox shampoo will bring your hair back to it's basic condition (might feel rough as that is how wet hair naturally feels as the cuticles are a little open due to the hot water): now it is ready to take in any anti oxidants you put on. This Lightweight is my rinse out conditioner, I follow up with the Restructuring Conditioner that has a smoothener in it. The smoothening conditioners are perfect leave in's as they seal and are perfect base for your gel to hold on to. So it is deep cleanse+remoisture+seal+gel. The more herbs/essential oils, the higher the anti oxidants which are basically the food for your hair. Without hair food no curls. Low-porosity only needs to seal at the end of the routine. High porosity need to build in multiple layers of sealing. Oils are good for softening and sometimes sealing plus also have anti oxidant values. But for thin hair oils can put weight on the hair and thus stretch it. So for thin hair herbal extracts are better. Nowadays I only oil my scalp with a rosemary blend and put in a very minimal amount on the actual hairs (like 1 tiny drop i rubbed on my hands) when I'm done styling to scrunch in some definition. My hair has gotten from straight to curly and is still developing more curls every day :-). You have to be patient and persistent, it took me 3 years to figure out which ingredients my hair likes, but also what is does not like and when to use what. Keep a product diary where you write down the ingredients. Study product labels! Make sure you get to recognize a fake smell from the smell actual herbs and essential oils give off. Natural scent is good, it means a fair amount of working ingredients in the product. Products that make your hair fall flat are either not potent enough or past their sell date thus the anti oxidants have lost their potency. Phitofilos has never let me down thus far.
