Mannan

Mannan is a cosmetically employed polysaccharide from the tubers of the konjac plant (Amorphophallus konjac), which is native to Japan and China. It is used as a basis for the gel that gives skin care and hair care products their creamy consistency. In addition, it has slightly film-forming, moisture binding properties. Mannan is very well tolerated and is therefore suitable for use with sensitive skin.
