Description
When the skin is exposed to environmental factors such as sunlight and pollution, it can produce reactive oxygen species that can create a pro-oxidant imbalance. This can lead to cell damage and promote cell ageing. Genetic ageing is inevitable but premature skin ageing due to external factors can be controlled.
The formulation of the face cream contains astaxanthin, a molecule extracted from a green algae. It is an orange-red, fat-soluble pigment that has protective properties. It provides conjugated double bonds that can reduce a reactive oxidising molecule. The formula is rounded off with vitamin C, vitamin B and hyaluronic acid.
Application:
- Gently pat onto the forehead, corners of the lips and cheeks in the morning and evening after cleansing.
- Gently massage in circular motions from the centre of the face towards the sides and from bottom to top.
- Optimal duration of use: 28 days.
