Its formula is completely natural and contains active ingredients such as linseed oil, plant proteins as well as extracts. The scent is obtained from pure essential oils. I have no hair, so all I can really comment on is the aroma, lol. It's very good; mostly a sweet orange scent but with an interesting medicinal note.

... and this is my absolute favorite shampoo. I've tried so many over the years but this one works by far the best for me. I haved been using it for around three months and It leaves my hair shiny, soft and manageable. I also use the the conditioner of this brand and I'm very happy with it as well.

Orange shampoos in general give the brilliant shine on hair. I compared two orange shampoos on Ecco Verde; this one and Greennatural Mild Citrus Fruits Shampoo. Both gives amazing shine with pleasant orange scent.
The difference is the price and La Saponaria Sunflower & Sweet Orange Shampoo uses several essential oils (Bitter orange peel oil, Sweet orange oil, Rose geranium oil, and Grapefruit peel oil). Rose geranium oil makes this shampoo stands out from other orange shampoos. The scent is a heavenly mix of citrus and rose.
